If you are looking for some fun family events this June, the Regional District of the Central Okanagan has a list of activities for the month.
'Tracks Walking Club'. Starting now until June 22. Registration is free for the club at the Environmental Education Centre for the Okanagan in Mission Creek Regional Park. The EECO is located in Mission Creek Regional Park, Springfield and Durnin Roads and is open daily from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. The event ends August 12. Members receive a walking journal, walking tips, seminars and motivational tips. This graduated walking program goes each Monday and Wednesday at 9 a.m. along the Mission Creek Greenway and Mission Creek Regional Park. People at a beginner fitness level can take part and along with the walking leader.
