Kelowna tied for top spot in a recent ranking of the top 10 places to live weather-wise in Canada.

According to the list, published by MoneySense, Kelowna earned the shared honour based on an average temperature of 8.1˚C, with 124 days above 20˚C, and only 108 days with rain.

Spring Wine Festival

The Spring Wine Festival takes place during the first ten days in May each year, and celebrates the upcoming grape growing season.

Near the end of April, spring has usually sprung already, fruit trees and flowers are budding, and the Okanagan Valley weather is nice and warm. There are generally over 100 events to take in over this event.
